Harbor – Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Harbor is a browser extension for saving, backing up and restoring browser tab sessions. It is published by Štěpán Ševčík, Znojmo, Czech Republic (contact: stepan@grafikasevcik.cz).

What data the extension handles

To save and back up your sessions, the extension reads the addresses (URLs) and titles of your open tabs (tabs permission). This data is stored only locally in your browser (chrome.storage). It is never sent to us or to any third party.

If you use the optional Pro sync, your saved sessions are stored in your own Chrome sync storage (chrome.storage.sync), which Google syncs between browsers signed in to your Google account under Google’s privacy policy. We have no access to it.

You can export or delete your data at any time from the extension; uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.

Payments for the optional Pro upgrade are processed by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and Stripe. To check whether you have paid, the extension contacts ExtensionPay with an anonymous install key; if you log in to restore a purchase, ExtensionPay uses your email address. See the ExtensionPay privacy policy and the Stripe privacy policy.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your data, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not run analytics or tracking in the extension.
