Page Measure – Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Page Measure is a Chrome extension for measuring sizes and distances of elements on web pages. It is published by Štěpán Ševčík, Znojmo, Czech Republic (contact: stepan@grafikasevcik.cz).
What data the extension handles
- The extension runs only on the tab where you click its icon (activeTab permission). It reads element positions locally to show measurements and does not collect or send page content or browsing history. In Color mode it takes a screenshot of the visible part of that tab so you can pick a pixel color; the screenshot stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
- Your rulers, guides and grid settings (Pro) are stored only locally in your browser (chrome.storage).
- Payments for the optional Pro upgrade are processed by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and Stripe. To check whether you have paid, the extension contacts ExtensionPay with an anonymous install key; if you log in to restore a purchase, ExtensionPay uses your email address. See the ExtensionPay privacy policy and the Stripe privacy policy.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data.
- We do not use your data for advertising or credit decisions.
- We do not use analytics or tracking in the extension.
